issued by the American Tract Society such as "Come to Jesus," "What it is to believe in Christ," &c. These have been reprinted in the South. We would also call attention to our "Hymns for the Camp," a little volume of rich, spiritual, old fashioned songs. Within a few days we have sold hundreds of copies, and are receiving orders from various parts of the South. Besides the above, we shall soon have a supply of larger publications.--such as "Persuasives to Early Piety," "Call to the Unconverted to Turn and Live, " "Young Men from Home," &c. It is no light matter to carry on such a work and therefore we appeal to all who feel interested in the moral improvement of our soldiers to aid us. This can be done by making donations and by purchasing the Tracts. Mr. George J. Sumner (Iron-front Building, Governor street,) is our Treasurer. He has a large supply of the above-named Tracts, and will take great pleasure in furnishing any who may call at his store. oc 9--2t
