Supreme Court of Appeals. --No decisions of great public importance have yet been rendered. Upon the petition of Charles Elliott, a writ of error was awarded to a judgment rendered by the Circuit Court of Spotsylvania county on the 9th day of October, 1861. affirming with costs a judgment recovered against the said Charles Elliott by the Commonwealth, in the Corporation Court of Fredericksburg, on the 21st day of July, 1860. --But the said writ of error is not to operate as a supersedeas until the petitioner shall enter into bond with sufficient security, in the Clerk's office of the said Circuit Court, in the penalty of $200, conditioned as the law directs.
