The Grand Jury, after a short retirement, returned and presented the following: Confederate States of America against William Y. Hughes — an indictment for a felony — a true bill. These parties are charged with uttering and passing counterfeit and forged Treasury notes, in the city of Petersburg. Similar charges against Henry T. Tatum and Louisa Tatum are yet to be acted on.
