The House burning affair at Franklin, Ky. Nashville, Nov. 27 --The Louisville Courier of to-day states that the affair at Franklin, Ky., which resulted in the burning of a house and the destruction of the lives of several persons, has no reference to politics, and that none of the parties were Lincolnites.--The men assaulted were charged with being engaged in killing David Whitesides about a month ago; and were George Bell and his posse. When the attempt was made to arrest them by a squad of soldiers sent by General Buckner, at the request of Judge Williams, they resisted the squad and killed one of them and wounded another. The affair then resulted as previously reported.
