Mayor's Court. --Arthur Ferguson, a free boy of color, indulged so deeply in Christmas potations on Thursday, that he fancied himself a white man, and pitched into Wm. Mitchell with a will; but found out his mistake when Mr. M. tied him and took him to the cage.--The Mayor sent the pugnacious youth on to the Hustings Court for trial, admitting him to bail in the sum of $200. The second in the series of ludicrous mistakes was furnished in the case of Napoleon Reminger, a drummer boy, connected with one of the New Orleans companies at Manassas. He came down to Richmond to spend Christmas, got on a big bender for so small a specimen, mistook himself for a horse, and went to sleep in Sutherland's stable. The Mayor sent him to General Winder with a recommendation to investigate his spiritual condition.
