Parade of the militia. --The 19th regiment of militia, commanded by Col. Thos. J. Evans, paraded yesterday, on Navy Hill. It turned out over two hundred strong. Two of the companies in this regiment are fully uniformed and armed--one with muskets and the other with double barrel shot guns — and one also very well drilled. The other companies have not had the same advantages, and are consequently not so familiar with the movements of the soldier; but we understand from those who witnessed the parade that the regimental drill was very creditable. The 179th regiment, Col. Ro. F. Morriss, paraded on Church Hill. A. gentleman who was present informs us that there was a splendid turn-out of officers, but only twenty-six privates made their appearance. Neither of the regiments received orders for active duty, the apprehension of which kept many patriots from reporting themselves in conformity with the call.
