Amusements. --Wells & Co. have added to the popularity of their place of amusement by the engagement of Misses Bertine and Morton, the first of whom was on Wednesday night complimented with three successive encores. The circus will shortly open at Metropolitan Hall, when — look out for fun. "The Varieties," with the good theatrical company engaged, commenced the week with every promise of success, and the performances have constantly received manifestations of popular favor. The bill for to-night is an attractive one.
