We understand that almost every man subject to military duty is volunteering in the county of Bedford.
Although she has eighteen companies in the field, we learn there is no lack of enthusiasm in volunteering since our late disasters.
A large company of artillery was organized a few days since, electing Wm. V. Jordan as Captain; and seven others, we understand, will be organized within a few days — making twenty-six in all. Well done, old Bedford
