rances Devine, a female of white color, was arraigned for stealing a lot of wearing apparel from Catherine Connors. The case, in the absence of witnesses, was continued until to-day. Duroc, slave of Edward Turpin, of Goochland, arrested for being a runaway and having no pass, was dispatched to his master in the country. Job Greer, a South Carolina darkey, arrested for disporting himself in this region without a pass, was let off on promise of going where he belonged.
