$50 reward. --I will pay the above reward of fifty dollars for the apprehension, or for any information that will enable me to secure James Montgomery Vaden, who I had employed at a substitute, and who absconded from my Agent at the American Hotel, Richmond, Va. on the morning of the 5th May, inst. He is 17 years old, well grown, has light or rather auburn hair, fair complexion, about 5 feet 10½ inches light; had on a new gray military suit, trimmed with black, and a gray cap without trimming; also, a knapsack, with the initiate "A.
