Scott and Matthews were killed, and onMessrs. Scott and Matthews were killed, and one of the soldiers wounded — the other making his escape. The wounded soldier stated that they both belonged to the 7th Wisconsin regiment, and had been taken prisoners by the rebels, from whom they escaped, and at the time of the affray they were looking for their regiment.
