Negro valor. --A Havana correspondent mentions that a regiment of negroes from Martinique, which had been employed by the French to aid in the Mexican campaign, were landed at Vera Cruz to pursue the troops of Carvajal, but instead of doing this, they considered discretion the better part of valor, and ran off. This is what might have been expected. Negroes for fighting purposes are rarely worth their clothing.
