Police Court. --This tribunal begins to be affected with the dullness so prevalent in other parts of the city. Yesterday, the list of offenders embraced the names of only three persons, all of whom were of the colored percussion. William, slave of James P. Duval, was whipped for participating in a rock battle on one of the public streets.--Mary A. Thomas, a free negro here, from Petersburg without authority of law, was punished and sent back.--Ro. Christian, who represented himself as free, but had no papers to show the fact, was committed to jail.--Several parties summoned up for permitting nuisances were allowed time to abate the subjects of complaint.
