Twenty dollars reward.
--Ran away on Saturday, August 30th, my boy Charles.
He is between forty and forty-five years of age, dark mulatto, heavy set, about 160 pounds weight, five feet nine or ten inches high, and has a broken nose, which turns up, appearing somewhat like a bull deg's. He had on when he left gray pants, check shirt, a pair of Government-made shoes, and a wool bat. He is supposed to be down about Rocketts.
The above reward will be paid for his delivery in jail, so that I can get him.
Lieut. Clinton Perry,
se 2--1m* Co. E, 1st Texas Reg't.
