Ranaway--$50 reward. --From the subscriber, in Madison, Rockingham county, N. C., a negro boy, named John. Said boy is about five feet high, black, and about eighteen years old. John is the property of Mr. Brown, of Virginia, was hired by me last spring, and may be attempting to make his way back to his old home on the Rappahannock. I will pay $50 reward for his apprehension and delivery to me in Madison, or $27 for his confinement in any jail, so that I can get him. au 13--12t* Nathaniel Scales.
