was adjourned till Thursday, to bring the other parties before the Court.--Charles Williams and Mortimer Wright were charged by the watchman of the Exchange Hotel witom No. 219. The watchman of the hotel stated that his attention was called to Williams's trying, with difficulty, to unlock a trunk in room 219; he recognized the prisoner as one having registered himself as Lieut. Williams, and the trunk having the name "Banks" on both ends, in large letters, he questioned him about his business with it. Williams replied, that the trunk looked like his, and not being able to read he could not undeceive himself. He was taken down to the office, and a gentlan from the place he claimed to come from pronounced his story a fabrication. Williams told his Honor that he had a furlough in his trunk which would prove the truth He was therefore sent back for it, but no trunk such as his was found there.
