Discharged. --Andrew Dunnavant, the soldier who was arrested about two weeks ago, on the charge of uttering forged descriptive rolls, knowing them to be forged, yesterday underwent a final examination before Confederate Commissioner W. F. Watson, who ordered his discharge from prison. In consequence of the Army Paymaster being imposed on frequently by swindlers, several arrests were made about the time Dunnavant was taken up. The parties, some of whom were operators on an extensive scale, are still in prison. The prompt measures taken against offenders seems to have operated beneficially.
