Arrest of K. G. C.'s. --Yesterday morning, seven men were arrested in Madison county, on the charge of being officers of lodges of Knights of the Golden Circle, and organization or and conducted for treasonable purposes. Their names are Joseph K. Evans, Jack Porter, David McCarty, Wm. Evans, Val. Gideon, Joseph Gideon, Keith.--They were arrested about daylight by Marshal H. M. Hoxie, of this city, assisted by Deputies Bowers and Burton and several Special Deputies, and by a squad of soldiers under command of Lieut. Col. Kissman, of the 23d regiment. The prisoners were brought to this city last evening and confined in the guard-house at Camp Crocker. We shall publish hereafter some of the information which formed the basis for these arrests. It will astonish loyal men to learn of the treasonable plots which have been in progress in our neighborhood, but which have been thus promptly squelched by the vigilance of the United States authorities.--Des Moines, Iowa, Journal, Sept.
