The House amendments to Senate bill providing for awarding medals or badges to soldiers for meritorious services, were concurred in. A message from the House was received announcing the adoption of a resolution rescinding the resolution to adjourn on the 13th inst., and extending the session until Monday, the 20th inst. The resolution was taken up and, on motion of Mr. Clay, was amended by striking out "Monday, 20th, at 12 o'clock M.," and inserting "to day at five o'clock P. M.," and returned to the House. A message from the President vetoing the bill for the relief of the Bible Society of the Confederate States, was taken up. It reads as follows: To the Seated of the Confederate States of America: I return herewith without approval an act which originated in your body, entitled "an act for the relief of the Bible Society of the Confederate States
