Forging transportation tickets. --Officer Richmond, of the Provost Marshal's office arrested on Thursday a man named Carroll, proprietor of an eating-house, corner of Cary and 14th streets, on the charge of being associated with one Holhurtz, living in Petersburg, Va., in the business of forging, and telling transportation tickets, with intent to defraud the Government.
