Mobile, October 17. --A special dispatch to the Advertiser and Register from Holly Springs yesterday, says: Lieutenant-General Pemberton has assumed command of the Department. Our burial party of 300, sent to Corinth, were seized and returned as prisoners. The Cincinnati papers, of the 11th, are filled with accounts of the great battle between Gens. Bragg and Buell.
