Ran away--$25 reward. --Ran away, on the 24th inst., from Hanover Junction, John H. Williams. He is about 24 years old, five feet three or four inches high, of dark gingerbread color, full face, thick set, and had on when he left a straw hat and brown jeans coat. Said boy has a bad appearance when spoken to, and claims to be free. I will pay the above reward of $25 for his delivery to me, at Mrs. Ladd's boarding-house, on Franklin street, between 17th and 18th, or at Robert Lumpkin's Jail. [oc 25--6t*] Wm. A. Allen.
Fifty dollars reward. --Ran away from Richmond, James McCLURE, a free negro, but bought by me for jail fees. He is about 5 feet 10 inches high, and is a bright mulatto. He is probably with or near our army on the Potomac. The above reward will be paid if delivered at Lumpkin's Jail, in this city. Wm. A. Allen. oc 25--1w*
