Thirty dollars reward will be paid for the apprehension and delivery to Capt. J. C. Hill at Chapin's Farm, or Capt. Alexander, of Richmond, of E. Carlain, who deserted from camp on the night of the 9th November. Said Carlain is 46 years of age, about 5 feet 7 inches high, florid complexion, sandy hair, gray or blue eyes, born in Ireland, and had on a brown suit when he left.
