--On Saturday officers Kelley and Griffin, of the day police, discovered in an alley in rear of the Exchange Hotel, a room kept by a man named Augustus Plume, used by him as a liquor and lottery or policy shop, much resorted to by that class of the colored population who may not inappropriately be called "fast." The officers carried off Plume and the implements of his trade, and some half dozen colored men, and locked up the whole party in the cage.
