Called Com't--A special session of the Hastings Court was held at the City, Hall at 11 o'clock yesterday, Recorder Claxie presiding, to examine Augustus Cady on the charge of stealing a gold watch and chain from Melinda Summers, on the 18th of September, 1862. The principal witnesses in the case being absent, the examination was continued until the regular term of the Court, the defendant being admitted to ball for his appearance to abide the result. Confederate States Court--Judge Halyburton presiding--The business, disposes of by this body on yesterday was unimportant but one case appearing on the --that of Carey N. Mandin, arraigned for a misdemeanor, and who was tried and acquitted. Judge Lyons's Court--This tribunal was in session yesterday, but nothing but business of a civil nature was transacted. Some forty-odd criminals are in jail awaiting trial, but none of the cases happened to be ready. The Court sits again to day.
