Mr. Saunders, of Campbell, offered a resolution that when this House adjourns to-day, it will do so to meet again at 8 o'clock P M, Friday. The resolution give rise to some debate; but was finally carried — ayes 52, noes 33. The Tax bill was taken up and discussed until the hour of recess. Evening Session--The House met at 8 o'clock. Mr. Ruther cordon the Chair. The Tax bill was again taken up, and the evening session consumed in its consideration.
