A communication was received from the Governor, enclosing a letter from the President of the Confederate States relative to the transportation of private freight on the several railroads of the State, which were laid upon the table and ordered to be printed. Mr. Saunders, of Campbell, offered a resolution that when this House adjourns to-day, it will do so to meet again at 8 o'clock P M, Friday. The resolution give rise to some debate; but was finally carried — ayes 52, noes 33. The Tax bill was taken up and discussed until the hour of recess. Evening Session--The House met at 8 o'clock. Mr. Ruther cordon the Chair. The Tax bill was again taken up, and the evening session consumed in its consideration.
