Deserted --Private William H Banks of Parker's Battery, on or about the 7th inst, near Chesterfield Station, Richmond and Fredericksburg railroad. Said Banks took with him a horse, and it is supposed is trying to make his way to Maryland, his native State, through our lines at or near Fredericksburg. He is about 5 feet 10 inches high, light hair, complexion, and eyes, defective front teeth, and stammers a little.
