Mayer's Court Tuesday, March 31st. --Dick, slave of J. Delarul, was forced twenty five lashes for stealing a pistol from Dennis O'Brien. The thief was detected and arrested by O'Brien. Lewis Hynam was arraigned charged with purloining a gold watch from Dr. C. H. Gibbes. In order to get at the merits of the case the Mayor continued the investigation to another time.
