Fatal Accident. --A young man named Woody, employed in the mill of Mr. Robert G. Scott, near Lynchburg, Va., met a deplorable death on Saturday last. A little boy who had come to the mill not upon the whirl of a perpendicular shaft, in rapid motion, to ride, and, his clothes becoming entangled in the machinery in some way, placed him imminent peril. Woody rushed forward to re the lad and succeeded in saving his life, though a had an arm and a leg broken.
