Six hundred dollars reward
--Will be paid for the apprehension and confinement in jail, so we can get them again, of the following negroes, to wit, who absconded from Danville, Va, on Saturday night the 2d of May 1863:
Guss, a mulatto, 21 years old about 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high good looking, and quick speaker.
Said boy was bought from Miss Leftwilch, in Bedford county, last fall, by John E Pace.
Jor Dan is of a dark copper color, 6 feet 1 or 2 inches high, full head of hair, well clothed, of genteel appearance and is about 25 years old.
Tyler, his brother, is a bright mulatto about 5 feet 6 inches high; 19 years old, a carpenter by trade, not as sprightly as Jorden, but very good looking.
These negroes are trying to get to the Yankees, and will probably go towards Bedford or Lynchburg.

Fifty dollars reward
--Ran away from the subscriber, at Denville Va. on the 2d ult servant woman Annie about 20 years old medium height, color black, Said woman was temporarily hired to Mr. James M Walker, of this place, and want off in company with a negro man, each riding mules.
She came from Prince William county, near Brentsville, Va and may be making her way to that county.
The woman is the property of Duff Green, of Falmouth, Va. I will pay the above reward for her arrest and delivery to me, or if secured in jail, so that I can get her. W Henry White Agent for Duff Green. Danville, Va, May 5, 1863. my 8--2aw8t*
From Tennessee. Chattanooga, May 6.
--All quiet in front Weather cold.
Fifty prisoners, captured at Danville by Capt. Forrest, arrived this evening Capt. Forrest is a brother of the General, and was, it is feared, mortally wounded in recent fighting.
