Mr. Fleming Patman. In two paragraphs relating to the Yankee raid in Hanover this gentleman was mentioned — in one of them as a guide to the Yankees," in the other in his true situation as a prisoner. We refer to the matter again in order to remove any erroneous impression one of the notices of him may have made. He was met on his way from Ground Squirrel Church, in Hanover, by the Yankees, and taken prisoner. He was forced to go with them and made to ride in front of their line. In this position he was forced to receive the fire of our own men at Tunstall's Station, by which his horse was killed. He was paroled and returned home. He has been in the service since the war began, and is a true and loyal citizen.
