New trial. --John Jones, convicted before Judge Meredith of engaging in the riot on the 2d of April, has been granted a new trial, which will take place at the next term of Judge Lyons's Court.

Hustings Court. --Judge Lyons's Court ended its May term on Saturday last. During its sessions thirty nine criminals were disposed of, two of whom were acquitted, two granted new trials, and thirty-five convicted and sent to the penitentiary or jail.
