Yesterday a man, who gave his name as Horace Harrison, was before the Mayor for stealing bail a gallon of whiskey from John Williams. Harrison, it seems, stealthily entered Mr. Williams's barroom and appropriated the liquor charged, on which to have a good time, but was discovered and capturedl take more desperate chances to satisfy that appetite than they would for bread and meat, it on the point of starvation. Yesterday a man, who gave his name as Horace Harrison, was before the Mayor for stealing bail a gallon of whiskey from John Williams. Harrison, it seems, stealthily entered Mr. Williams's barroom and appropriated the liquor charged, on which to have a good time, but was discovered and captured before he could effect his escape. He was committed to prison for the offence.
