oy 14 years old, and Betsy Ann, a girl 4 years of age, all very bright mulattoes. The woman is about 30 years of age, fine looking, has a full head of hair, rather fleshy, about 5 feet 4 or 6 inches high with front teeth decayed and somewhat broken. The boy Tom is thin, and appears somewhat delicate, his hair cut close to his head, and has a scar, from the effects of a burn, near the top of the head, about two inches long and one inch wide which leaves the skin entirely exposed. He is about 4 feet 6 inches high, and very bright. The girl is very fleshy, but active and sprightly, well grown for her age with a full head of hair, and a remarkably fine looking child. I have reason to believe they have been furnished with forged passes and will endeavor to get beyond our lines. I will pay the above reward of $250 for their recovery and delivery to me or confinement in any jail so that I may get them. J R Dowell, Gen'l Supt Southern Teleg'h Comp'y, Richmond Va. jy 14--1w
