Our Army Correspondence. Army Northern Virginia, August 10th, 1863. The "seat of war" continues to be unproductive of news. Little or nothing has occurred since the cavalry fight of Tuesday last that is note worthy. I returned from Culpeper last evening, where I had been, in the language of certain Confederate correspondents, "on a reconnaissance." Everything remains in statu quo--The headquarters of Gen. Meade are believed to be still at Warrenton, with the bulk of his army concentrated in the country circumjacent. Excepting the sending out of scouts occasionally, neither infantry nor cavalry have showed any disposition to advance. Our cavalry are constantly on the qui vive, and may be said to be most of the time in line of battle, awaiting the advance or appearance of their mounted adversaries, who have distinguished themselves by their boldness since the first fight at Brandy Station.
