Runaway. --Was brought to my jail July 20th, 1863, a negro man named Wade. He says he belongs to John Davis Wilkes, of the 6th South Carolina regiment, and came rem-Chester, S. C, and has stayed with the army about thirteen months. Said negro is of a dark complexion five rest two inches high, and about twenty-seven years old; has a small scar under his right eye; says that a horse kicked him.
