Gen. Trimble and his Staff. We were yesterday permitted to read a letter written by Gen. Trimble, at Gettysburg and dated July 30th. He states that he is doing well, and says that in two weeks he expected to be entirely cured. His sufferings with the wound which now afflicts him have not been near so great as those which he endured from the wounds he received in the second battle of Manassas, in August last. Lt. Chas. O. Grogan and Frank Champion, his orderly, are with him and doing well. Lt. Samuel Davis, another of his aids, who was wounded at Gettysburg, is at Chester, Pa., and recovering rapidly. The General writes in cheerful spirits, and is willing to take the chances of a prisoner of war.
