Not reported. --Nine days since the Justices in Henrico county, by a unanimous vote, appointed Dr. Garnett, Mr. Nettles, and Mr. John. B. Young, a committee to wait on the Secretary of War and solicit his protection for the farmers and gardeners of Henrico, whose crops are being stolen and destroyed by day as well as by night. That committee, it was supposed, would perform promptly the duties, and the gardeners expected, ere this time, to have the protection asked; but, as far as we can learn, the Secretary has never heard of the committee, and we fear will not do so till too late. Stir up, gentlemen, and let us hear your report.
