Robbery. --Robt. Davis and Jos. Shaw were arraigned before the Mayor yesterday to answer the charge of stealing $800 in Confederate money from John Buchanan on Saturday last. Buchanan, it seems, was on a bit of a spree, and, being at Margaret Horan's house, became acquainted with the prisoners, with whom be took several drinks. In the course of an hour or so Buchanan was laid out on a pallet, his money then in his pocket, and all the other parties left the room, save Davis and the drunken man. They remained together about an hour, when Davis took his departure. Buchanan awoke between two and three o'clock, when he discovered that his money had taken flight. With the hope of getting other witnesses, the examination was adjourned till Friday.
