Deferred Cases. --Wm. Henchman underwent examination yesterday morning for assaulting Patrick H. Redford, an old gentleman, in a drinking saloon, on Saturday last, and taking from his pockets $80. Evidence was given in favor of Henchman's previous good character; but Redford being positive that the accused took his money, he was sent on to the next term of the Hustings Court. G. W. Murray, previously bailed to appear before his Honor this morning to answer the charge of stealing some a drinking saloon, on Saturday last, and taking from his pockets $80. Murray, previously bailed to appear before his Honor this morning to answer the charge of stealing some coats, failed to make his appearance, and his recognizance was declared forfeited.
