Nuisances.
--John Royall, Samuel Sutherland, Col. Thos. B. Bigger, and J. H. McRae, were summoned before the Mayor yesterday to show cause why they should not be fined for permitting a back alley, used in common by them, to remain in a filthy condition.
A fine was assessed against them, to be paid in case of failure to abate the nuisance by Thursday morning.
