Stonewall Jackson. --A very able address has just been delivered before the cadets of the Virginia Military Institute by Major-General Francis H. Smith, its Superintendent, on "The Life and Character of Lieut.-Gen. Thomas J. Jackson, late Professor of Natural and Experimental Philosophy" there.
