Funeral procession. --The and civic procession which followed last resting place, yesterday, the of the late Gen. Charles Dimmock, very large and imposing one. In the high State dignitaries, legislators, citizens, and warm personal friends, whom knew the deceased well, and him highly for his qualifications as as well as for those warm and generous traits of friendship and kindness for which he was so proverbial. Among the military were the Public Guard--men that he had commanded for years as an officer, and advice and counselled as a friend. In his death they have sustained a heavy loss--one not easily repaired. The military escort consisted of the 19th regiment Va. militia, the 1st regiment 2d class militia the 25th Va. battalion, two companies from Camp Lee, a section of artillery, Capt.
