ntered on Tuesday night and robbed of five or six fat hogs, valued at from $1,500 to $2,000, besides several articles of the provision line. Mr. Dich is a worthy and industrious man, and had, by economy in business prior to entering the service accumulated enough to lay in a small stock of provisions for the use of his family. Therefore this loss falls heavier upon him than it would upon those who have amassed large sums by speculation. The smoke-house of A. G Robertson, on Baker street, near Bacon Quarter Branch, was entered on Tuesday night and robbed of about $3,000 worth of bacon, beef, soap, &c. The mode of procedure in this case was prizing open the door to Mrs. Robertson's residence with a crow bar. On the night of the 17th instant the sleeping room of James McClellan, over E. S. Spence's store, corner of 13th and Main sts., was forcibly entered and a large trunk, containing valuable clothing and $40 in gold, together with most of his bed clothes, taken therefrom.
