stolen goods. --Complaint was made before the Mayor yesterday against Stephen Maloney, a seedy looking Irishman, as one of the parties implicated in the robbery Constant. This room, Constant asserts, was rented to Mrs. Annie Dobson alias Maloney, with whom the prisoner is said to be staying. It was denied by Mrs. Maloney Mrs. Maloney at this examination that the room was rented by her; but the proof being plain against that denial, she was remanded to appear for trial before the Court of Hustings in February. Maloney also refused to acknowledge knowing anything about the room in which the stolen articles were found, but, from some cause or other, he was not nd neatly attired, being called as a witness, made oath that yesterday morning Maloney came over and, unlocking the door to the room in dispute, took from it severalr Morris substantiated the evidence which had been given by the above witness. The Mayor then remanded Maloney to jail examination before the Hustings Court.
