nt of The battle of Winchester. On the 9th of June Lieut. Gen. R. S. Ewell's (second) corps, being encamped near Culpeper C. H., Majo this fight. On the afternoon of the 10th of June the whole of Ewell's corps left Culpeper C. H., moving in the direction of Winchester,, and had taken up position in his inner and main forts. Lt.
