A Visit of the Yankees to Suffolk. About 4 o'clock on Sunday morning last four companies of Yankee cavalry made a dash into Suffolk, with the view of capturing Capt. Thos. E. Upshaw, of the 13th Va. cavalry, who was at the time at home with his family. Fortunately they surrounded the house adjoining that of Capt. T. Upshaw and commenced a search, and before their mistake was discovered Capt. U. made his escape.--It is said that they also searched the Central Hotel and several other houses, but without finding Confederate soldiers. Being disappointed they retired very soon to their quarters, two miles below the town.
