Attempting to get to the Yankees.
--Some time since a man named T. M. Baily was arrested on the charge of being engaged in selling forged passports, furloughs, and soldiers' discharges.
Upon an examination before the Commissioner he was sent on to be tried before the Confederate States Court, and bailed in the sum of $17,000 to appear.
Since then he has been arrested on the charge of attempting to flee the Confederacy, and on yesterday was imprisoned in Castle Thunder.
At the time of his arrest he had in his possession a large amount in greenbacks, and several letters of recommendation to some well known residents in Washington city, leaving no doubt of the fact that it was his intention to go over to the enemy.
