A fine painting. There is on exhibition and for sale at Lybreck's, under the Spotswood Hotel, a full length portrait of Washington, by Hubard. This picture is one of the best, if not the very best, achievements of the distinguished artist. It should be bought for some public place of deposit by some State or library. Independent of any other consideration, its high merit, and the honor due the great original, especially at this time, entitles the picture to this eminence.
